EUXYL K712 - All You need to know about this Natural Preservative


Euxyl K712  is made up of Sodium Benzoate  (Antibacterial and Anti fungal)  and  Potassium Sorbate (Anti fungal) plus water (Aqua)

A liquid preservative for personal care products with strong broad spectrum efficacy against bacteria, yeast and mold. 

This mild blend can be used for certified Natural Cosmetics and is fully effective for in anionic and non ionic systems.  It is also very cost effective. 

The advantage of this preservative is that it is Formaldehyde Free, Contains no Parabens and no Phenosyethanol 

You can safely use this in Leave on Products and Wet Wipes - both being recommended and in Rinse Off products which is highly recommended. 

The suggested usage rate for Euxyl K712 is between 0.5% to 1.5% of the total weight of a formation.  

As there can be many different factors that effect the efficiency of a preservative we strongly recommend that you do you own testing  until you get the desired and best preservation result. 

Do not over use the preservative as this can lead to skin irritation.
